Alex’s Homebrew TM22 2-Stage Trigger Blade

Installation service HERE

Give TM-22 a distinctive, crisp wall; it also limits overtravel.

made with carbon fiber petg, brass and steel inserts for all load-bearing parts, so don’t need to worry about longevity. (painstakingly hand-fitted by me)

Full metal ones in development, you will get a rebate for purchasing this early access variant.

install instruction:

  1. 1. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the C clip of the safety pin on the right side, pull the safety lever out. Be careful there is a steel ball and a spring on the left side working as detent. Don’t lose them. The hammer and spring will also jump out from the top once the pin is pulled out. completely.
  2. Take a punch, tap the trigger pin out. Go in from the right side. Once the pin is out, the trigger return spring may also jump out. Don’t lose that
  3. Take the trigger with linkage out, put the new trigger in with the linkage. Now, this is the trickiest part; you need to push the trigger return spring back in along with the trigger blade. To do that, you need to half-insert the trigger pin from the left side, holding the trigger in place, but leave the slit on the trigger open, and use a pair of pliers or my tool to push the spring into the slit. Apply some pressure on the trigger pin. Once the spring loop is in place and lined up with the trigger pin, you should be able to just push the pin through.  Use a tap and a mallet to tap the pin back in place.
  4. Now just reverse what you did before and reassemble the gun.
  5. Use a 1.5mm allen key to turn the adjustment screw on the new trigger blade like half a turn at a time, until you get the wall for the second stage when you pull the trigger. Turn in too little you just have the factory trigger, turn in too much it won’t fire.
