Beautifully built using a combination of time-honored techniques and modern technology, the limited edition Citori 825 Belmont Sporting High Grade is an over and under shotgun that is equally as capable as it is magnificent.Â
This limited edition shotgun is an exquisite representative of Browning over and under shotgun supremacy. Here, the receiver becomes the gunmakers canvas, where classic-style engraving mingles with gold enhancements. The intricate engraving is hand retouched, adding depth and contrast.Â
Fitted to the receiver is a finely finished Grade IV Turkish walnut stock. This beautiful wood is protected by a premium gloss oil finish that accentuates the contrasting wood grain. Fine-line checkering is added to the stock and forearm. A right-hand palm swell and nameplate inlay are also present on the stock.Â
Beyond the aestetic beauty, the Belmont is all Citori 825, the latest in the storied lineage of Browning over and under shotguns. Like the B25 and other Citori models, Citori 825 shotguns rely on the blueprint of the renowned full-width hinge and tapered locking lug design to provide maximum durability and unstoppable reliability for a shotgun that will outlast every other.
All of this strength is confined inside a low-profile receiver that offers advantages to the shooter, as well. The reduced height of the receiver lowers the bore line of the barrels to optimize swing and pointability, while also putting the barrels more in line with the shoulder to better control felt recoil and minimize muzzle jump for more accurate second shots.Â
The Fire Lite 2 is a refined version of the popular mechanical trigger from the Citori 725. It has been enhanced to offer even better performance and lighter pull weights than ever before. Dependability with extra light loads has also been improved.Â
