The H12 Classic Rifle & Carbine carries forward the timeless appeal of a steel lever-action finished for real-world use. Built around a solid steel receiver and finished in a subdued matte blue, the H12 delivers a traditional look with a non-reflective, low-glare finish well suited to the woods, the range, and everyday outdoor work. Offered in five proven pistol calibers and two barrel lengths, the H12 platform gives shooters a wide range of practical options in a rifle built to be used, not babied.
The matte blued steel finish provides a classic, understated appearance while reducing glare in bright conditions and standing up well to regular handling. Paired with genuine American walnut furniture, the H12 looks right at home in the field – honest, familiar, and purpose-built. The H12 Classic is available in both rifle and carbine configurations. The rifle’s longer barrel favors a longer sight radius and steadier hold, while the more compact carbine emphasizes quick handling in dense brush, tight terrain, or around the property. Regardless of length, every H12 shares the same intuitive handling and traditional lever-action feel.
Chambered in a range of time-honored pistol calibers, the H12 excels at short- to medium-range work where control, efficiency, and shootability matter most. Select calibers feature Henry’s side loading gate paired with a removable tube magazine, allowing the rifle to be topped off as needed while still unloading safely and easily. Models chambered in .327 Federal Magnum / .32 H&R Magnum and .41 Magnum utilize a removable tube magazine without a side loading gate.
Across all variants, the H12 Classic Rifle & Carbine includes a traditional semi-buckhorn rear sight with brass bead front sight, sling swivel studs, a ventilated rubber recoil pad, and an internal transfer bar safety system.
