SJ Hardware Type 5 No-Jam 12Ga Follower

The S&J No-Jam Type 5 mag follower is the best on the market today, will not break down with cleaning compound and will not crack. CNC milled from 2 inch block of Safety Green Or DuPont Delrin®, it does not react to heat or cold, and thus reduces jamming. The follower is hollowed out on the back so the spring sits inside, but does not stick. Open end makes it easy to feel for the chamber being empty.

The type 5 is a longer cup type follower but with larger cone at the front that allows the follower to poke out onto loading port. Which is required in some shotgun designs. Also the type 5 is around 0.0009 wider then most followers. They have designed this follower to work with the Savage Steven’s 320.
