ESEE 4POD-011 Fixed Blade Knife – Natural Canvas Micarta
The ESEE Model 4 is a solid survival knife with a blade made from 1095 carbon steel. The extremely sustainable powder coating on the blade protects it from the increased corrosion sensitivity of the carbon steel. The wonderful usage qualities of the steel guarantee a lifetime of pleasure. This Model 4 is enhanced with a blade that is slightly longer than the ESEE 3, but with the same handle.
The full tang blade is enhanced with a micarta handle. A 3D micarta handle. This was an answer to questions of enthusiasts. The traditional ESEE scales are flat and angular. These 3D scales are a lot more ergonomic. Because of the grooves you still have a lot of grip over the knife. With these scales the ESEE 4 has become a lot more versatile, even coming close to the traditional bushcraft knives. The ESEE 4 is a versatile medium-sized knife. Large enough for all-round use when camping and for bushcraft purposes. At the same time it is compact enough to not look too ‘over the top’.
The knife comes with a flexible sheath. The knife perfectly fits inside the Zytel sheath which can be mounted on the included plate with steel belt clip. You can attach it on both sides so the whole can be made to size.
