These special Canadian editions feature a number of significant enhancements over the standard Shadow model. Most obvious is the aluminum long grooved grip in red with a laser engraved Maple leaf. However the major functional differences are in the tuning of the pistol completed by a CZ factory gunsmith. This tuning includes burnishing of the barrel and all functional surfaces, tuning the trigger mechanism, and installation of an 11lb recoil spring. The Canadian edition also comes with 3 magazines, each has an aluminum base in matching red to compliment the pistol’s grip plates.

The CZ Shadow 2 was built for competition, ready for matches and ready to take a stand and deal with rivals in its own class of pistol. While those have so far focused on the design features and success of the Shadow 1, the Shadow 2 has not just improved the crucial details that have made it so successful to date, but it has significantly redesigned the main parts too, taking full advantage of the possibilities opened up by the recent modernization of technology.
