The Tricorne Bag from Cole-TAC has been added to their innovative line up of support bags. The name references the Tricorne hats worn by men centuries ago. The three individual chambers provide instant support over a multitude of obstacles.
This polymer fill gives the right flow, consistency, and weight to have your rifle settle in and take your shot. With the small Velcro opening, you can finely adjust and tune the fill to your preferences. The large grab handle and sewn in sling attachment loop provide fast maneuvering between positions.
The Tricorne Bag has loops on the top that make it compatible with Cole-Tac’s Backbone Frame (sold separately) as well, allowing you to mount it directly to your rifle without straps going over the barrel.
The outer shell is made from 1000D Cordura and comes with a lifetime warranty.
Backbone Frame
The Backbone Bag Frame represents the next revolution in support bags. The patent-pending design eliminates the need for straps that attach the support bag over the rifle or optic. The hardcoat-anodized frame attaches to the rifle by either an American Defense Picatinny mount or an Area 419 Arcalock mount. Four Velcro straps keep the bags securely in place, and the wide surface area of the frame prevents the bags from twisting and shifting.
The beauty of the Backbone Bag System (BBS) is the adaptability and versatility. The frame can be used on any of our other BBS compatible bags, offering you the best support for your shooting scenario. Once you remove the frame, the bag can be used just like any other standard bag as there is no sewn in metal frame. This interchangeable design makes both the bags and frame extremely versatile.
